The AJ Styles WWE Thread

So the Jesus of second rate promotions just got buried by old man Jericho in his first month on the job.

Have a nice day.

You know wrestling isn't real right?
They are setting up a ppv feud. Word life.

You understand that real or fake they still have wins and loses right? And to build storylines and credibility wins and loses matter. Losing to Chris Jericho does nothing but make Jericho look like he isn't an old bum. And makes AJ look like he can barely even contend with the over the hill talent of WWE.

Don't bother with the village clown, village idiot. JamesRyko is the same guy that claims Seth Rollins is the GOAT...after three years in the wwe, he's the GOAT. Same guy that has no idea who AJ Styles was before he came to the WWE. Same guy who didn't even know who Tyler Black was until he came to the WWE and sits there claiming Rollins is the best. He's also the same guy who has no idea what what psychology is and is now acting like he understands and knows pro wrestling.

Surprised they let AJ have the mic this early not his strong suit but it's not horrible only thing he has going against him is the southern accent but then again so did Steve Austin.

Doesn't matter. Jericho is still a big name AJ will go over on the PPV and go on to face someone else

I agree with everything you said. I'm glad we're on the same page. Only question is.. If I'm an idiot and right.. What does that make you?

I like seth, hes good but not great. They took too long to put the belt on him in ROH. His promos are stale, nothing new but hes a good worker. When we say hes the best, I would ask how....Best worker? Cesaro is pretty good, best character? I like Kevin Owens right now. Best global star? I think Okada and Nakamura tell better stories currently. Seth has some potential though. I do think seth has a crappy finisher though and an abover average move set.

I don't like the even steven booking but I mean, Owens beat cena in his debut, he had nowhere to go but down. I am okay with a slow build for AJ. Wins and losses don't really matter.

I kinda want them to hold off on the rubber match til Mania... and then Feed Miz to AJ at Fastlane.

Sell it that Miz can do what Jericho does... and challenges AJ. Only for him to get spanked.

Jericho seems focused as hell right now and I believe he'd be up for 15 minutes. It'd be a good solid low card mania match IMO.

So trading wins to set up a rubber match at the upcoming PPV to further a heel turn and feed a storyline is still considered 50/50 booking?

Ugh, get your shit together.

who is this directed at?

Lots of cringy mic work tonight. AJ def needs a Paul Haymen type guy to speak for him.

Actually I thought his mic work wasn't so bad and he looked good in the match. Excited for AJs first PPV in the WWE their match on Smackdown stole the show I think this could be even better

His matches have all been A+ quality. Not sure how long Cena is out for but id like to see AJ win the U.S. Title and then feud with Cena. Cena can probably carry him verbally better than Jericho can also..

Maybe your right though, maybe my expectations are unreasonably high. But there just seems to be something off about the way he conversates... It's like watching a TV show inside a TV show.. When the actors are pretending to suck at acting because they're playing normal ppl trying at act... Not sure if that makes sense... Anyways, AJ vs Cena please.
