The 2022 jynx thread - disaster predictions

No one can predict the future, but at least let’s go on the record for our specific disaster predictions for 2022. Since I don’t believe in hexes, jynxes and other superstitious crap, I take no responsibility if any of these come true.

Here is mine:

Jon Jones will finally sign up for a HW fight in 2022. UFC will make some great promos and there will be lots of anticipation for that fight. Tickets will be sold out, and the forums will buzz with excitement. Exactly 3 days before the fight, Jones will get involved in a car accident and be charged with another DUI, and the main event will be scrapped.

Yan-Sterling ends in a no contest, they have to rematch again, the list of viable number one contenders grows to five. I guess whoever wins the trilogy will have to defend against TJ, then Aldo, then Merab, then Dom, then Font.

3 of them will get injured

-Conor McGregor won't come back this year(This is a good or bad thing depending on your perspective).
-Holloway vs Volk won't happen this year.
-Max will have medical issues similar to 2018 where it kept forcing him out of big fights. He'll only fight once this year.
-Poirier vs Diaz will happen way later down the year(the fight gets made, cancelled and then booked again). Both will only fight once this year.
-Carla Ezparza gets jumped over by another contender(probably Rodriguez) for a title shot and she'll be forced to take another fight against someone like Zhang.
-Cody Garbarant vs O'Malley is made(2nd fight for O'Malley in 2022) and Cody gets KO'd brutally. He'll be cut by the UFC shortly after.
-Stipe doesn't fight in 2022.
-Glover only fights once this year against Jiri(I think Glover he beats him).
-Jorge might look like a shell of his former self in this upcoming fight. He'll fight twice this year and lose both(hope this doesn't happen, rooting for him against Colby).
-Usman fights twice this year(Edwards and Luque). Wins both, but will win by decision. He'll retire after the Luque fight and we'll never see Usman vs Khamzat.
-Alex Perreira loses his 3rd fight in the UFC, gets passed Silva and loses to a top 15 guy afterwards.
-Edgar gets KO'd again and is forced to retire.

Colby-Mas promotional tour will culminate in one of the most homoerotical staredowns in history and the fight will suck as well.

Damn I'm bad at this shit... OK I got one
Moreno vs Figgy 3 is a competitive fight where Figgy gets the nod by decision, they're locked in for a 4th fight later in the year.
Figgy pulls out of the 4th fight due to weight cutting issues, striped and will move up to bantamweight.

The flyweights will be clogged up with Moreno, Royval, Kai and Askar at the top of the division. There's only one flyweight title fight this year and it's the one next week at UFC 270.

Conor drops the belt to Nate 3 months later in what is meant to be a softball defence.

Not a disaster but I bet we get our first openly gay male fighter this year. Honestly he will probably make bank off of it.

Every since Jeremy Stephens gave Drakkar Klose whiplash during their staredown, Dana's gotten paranoid, won't let fighters get within three feet of each other, and now staredowns are lame af. How homoerotic can you get from that far away?
