I was here long before "likes" became a thing. I will be here long after they're gone.

Was strange when I got back from a long hiatus and likes were a thing when I came back. Finally broke even and then reset to zero.

I'm ashamed that I had any validation, despite having around 18k pre-like posts, in finally having more likes than posts.

Is this like a reschueduled April Fools cause April Fools happened during the frantic early weeks of a pandemic?

Wow 7 years of interaction just never happened.
 
why didn't they just add up all the likes for each person before the purge and apply new likes to this cumulative total to preserve at LEAST something?
 
If the system is so shit it can't handle liking posts, just remove the feature entirely

Or be brave and add a dislike button

I was quite fond of liking "In" gifs and occasional opinions. Don't feel I was whore about it but it's a moot point now.
