You guys think this one will be a good scrap? Both these guys desperately need a win here. Siyar hasn't fought in 2 years, and Thatch hasn't had a win since then either. So the stakes are pretty high: the loser might be giving Coker a call next week. Expecting a stand up war here, obviously. Who do you guys have for this fight? I'm thinking Thatch. I might normally have said Siyar but I don't know how good he's gonna look after such a long ass layoff.

at least thatch has fought in the last 2 years. He looked like garbage against benson after the first few minutes and he got submitted the second he accepted the fight against gunnar, but he fought. Siyar was overrated to begin with and he is going to get bullied by a much bigger man.

For as long as it lasts I think it should be awesome. Should be fun to see what Bahadurzada brings to the table after such a long layoff

Thatch by boring wrestlefuck decision just to rustle Siyar.

Joking. Of course I'm rooting for a TKO from Brandon.

I'm guessing Thatch is going to TKO him. We'll see if the losses have hurt his confidence, though.

This is going to be a banger, hoping for a win for Brandon.

Also, "Rukus" should change his nickname to "Blackbeard"

Afghan Killa sounds like some shit you find in the Diaz house.

Wasn't that Tim Kennedy's nickname?

Online it says his nickname is "the great". Not sure if that changed though. I really don't know much about him. Just happy to see Thatch fighting again.

Whenever I expect an absolute tear up it always ends up being a conservative kickboxing match..

Cannot wait for Thatch's fight. Imo he looked not bad against Benson. I must admit i was influenced by beer into thinking he was winning before the sub but apparently I'm mistaken. Really hope to see him back on top tonight.

Couldn't give a shit bout Siyar

I got to see Thatch fight locally in the ROF events in Colorado a bunch. He was walking through guys. I then made a thread about him on Sherdog (a couple of years ago) and said this guy will be in the UFC and hold the belt some day. He definitely got derailed in his last two fights, but those losses were to a couple of excellent fighters.

I hope Thatch wins, then goes on a tear.

Siyar should take this, a counter coming in as Thatch tries to land something big

thatch isn't particularly skilled IMO, just really big. Siyar has some countering skills to go with his enormous power.

Thatch was ragdolling Bendo in the 1st and it looked like just a matter of time before Bendo wilted and got finished, but Bendo has the heart of a lion and weathered the storm and turned the tide once Thatch started slowing down.

I've always felt that Thatch may be better off at MW. That cut to 170 looks to be a killer for him. He's never won a fight that made it out of the 1st round. Granted, there's only been two of them.
