Not great but,
Technical showing by Kongo on the feet. Good Takedowns by Spartan. Kongo had very good defense keeping him from passing his guard. Very good showing after the Kimbo vs Dada main event.

Tough fight to call as well. Boring but decent skills shown

Kongo literally just hung on for dear life when it got to the ground, Spartan forgot how to mount for some odd reason. Terrible fight is terrible.

Kongo vs Johnson should be the next fight Bellator makes.

Kongo fan but it wasn't great. I've seen worse. Kongo was tearing him up with kicks but Spartan landed the best shot of the fight. On the ground it was pretty much just stall central. I'm good with either guy getting the fight.

Worst fight of the night.

The rest of the card was solid af

Pretty dull fight. We saw a lot of fireworks beforehand but the event ended with a dud.

I thought it was decent; if it was a championship fight with guys people care about it would have been quite exciting I think, there was a lot of level changes and some hard shots landed,

I wasn't particularly scoring the fight, but am I mad to have thought Quieroz won all 3 rounds? How on earth did Kongo get a 30/27 when he got dropped and controlled for most of the 3rd? :o.

Once a feared, athletic, well-rounded MMA fighter with killer instict became a poor point-fighter.
Having a close fight again roided overrated Brazilian brawler - sorry, no credit for that.

When UFC didn't re-sign him, many thought it's premature. Seems they knew very well what they were doing - didn't want to pay him after he became a shell of his former self.

Him and Kimbo - both don't deserve a time on a big screen. For different reason though.

UFC didn't cut Kongo. He left for Bellator.

Where did I say that they cut him?

They chose not to re-sign him. And THEN, only then, he went for Bellator.

He was offered a 4 fight deal before his last fight in the UFC. If he wanted to continue fighting for the UFC than he would be. He was 4-1-1 before the Nelson loss. And you think UFC didn't want to resign him...

All im saying is that it was pretty good.

Honestly Kongos standup looked pretty crisp even with him getting caught. He looked a little quicker.

The boring part was do to Spartan not being able to pass guard. But it was because Kongo was preventing him obviously

I don't recall Spartan ever being anywhere close to overrated

Agree, better than the last Fight with Volkov, they should make Kongo vs Jhonson

I just stopped watching and made some nachos, that whole card was meh

It was a good fight, but in the modern age of ADHD just-bleed-fans, it was a boring fight. To me, it was a pretty standard, enjoyable, MMA fight.
