is she really talentless? I cant think of anything she's in that ive watched and really enjoyed, but i could probably say that for the vast majority of hollywood actors. she seems to be of a normal skill level to me

One of the advantages of living in the UK is we've dodged the cheesey young adult vampire trend more than the US, never had to watch them with someone else.

Does really seem to have had a two tier career staring in mostly bad larger Hollywood films(haven't seen Snow White or Underwater either) whilst having quite a sucesful arthouse side with Clouds of Sils Maria, Still Alice and Personal Shopper.

Honestly if they rebooted Alien she would probably make for a decent replacement for Weaver.
