This is a nice casual post for all the Diaz fans out there man.
How did you guys feel, and describe your reaction if any when he tapped and Diaz with the crimson mask flexes double biceps and just walks off into a camera shot.
If you want to know mine see below:
I'm literally screaming at the screen "he's done, he's done" when he's ground and pounding from mount. He rolls over and I'm literally screaming with an unintentional high pitch "Rear Naked Choke! Rear Naked Choke!". He locks it and and turns him over, I see the tap. At this stage I'm jumping up and down on the spot screaming "I told you, I told everyone, I told everyone!" whilst my mate (die hard Conor fan) is just in disbelief.
Oh boy... I think that might be the most I've ever enjoyed a fight. No title, just a fight, between the biggest hype-job this sport has ever seen and the most rough-around the edges, working class, cult favorite.
This was a win for the working man, this was a win for the humble ones, the real ones. Conor was very humble in defeat, and I hope this makes him a more humble man, I think I'd warm to him without the disgusting attitude.
Diaz has accomplished it all now. He doesn't need to be a champ, I don't think the belts ever mattered to him, the man got his pay-day, and he'll forever be the man who stopped that train. Get that money Nate, and let's go Frankie!
