Thai Shorts for bigger guys.

Struggling to find good thai shorts for bigger guys (UK)

Seems like most of the thai brands I would turn to don't carry the size I need.

Anyone in the same boat and found the answer?

I wear size 42" jeans (USA) and the struggle is real for Thai shorts, I have ordered some that are supposed to be big enough but are definitely not. Revgear sells some of their Thai shorts in 3xl and those actually fit pretty decent, not sure about availability in UK.

I'm just a 36" waist so I don't have that problem but one of my friends is like a 42". He just uses mma shorts and I think he uses the short venum shorts, they seem to work well for him.

Boon shorts are nice, but hitting a 38-40 waist looks like a stretch.

I've seen as big as 4XL muay thai shorts at the Boon shop in Thailand, so it shouldn't be a problem. You might want to email them in advance so they can make the shorts for you. I usually see bigger sizes at the sale bin too, so you could get lucky! You can have the gear shipped to the UK.

Fairtex also carries big sizes. I find that their size runs big compared to other Thai brands (i.e. if you're a medium Thai size, get one size smaller for Fairtex)

the trick is to search for WRESTLING SHORTS not MMA shorts

MMA shorts are only in Asian sizes... 40" MAX

These are wrestling shorts made by a wrestling company for wrestling bucause wrestling has recently allowed athletes to wear grappling shorts instead of a singlet for wrestling

I buy them for MMA because they come in AMERICAN sizes...unlike MMA shorts

pretty amazing these corporations that offer MMA fight shorts haven't figured that out...

Well... these were the threads that popped on my key word search so I'm not going to just pick one and reply to it

I'm going to make sure that these makers get some kind of commentary as what they're doing is awesome

big men are an under served community in Athletics

americans don't make anything anymore... we just buy from other countries and it's pretty sad that we can't even get gear in our average size

This excludes a large portion of the market and reduces participant levels
