Opinion Texas' ban on critical race theory in schools proves the GOP still doesn't understand MLK's message

Imagine how fucking stupid you have to be to believe there is no biological difference between races.

These people are a disgrace to science.

It will never change the past, no matter how much we intermingle in modern society.

But saying race is a social construct is beyond retarded.

There are no 'races', we are but one species and race as defined by skin color is archaic: that as the core basis falls apart immediately considering how genetically distinct Sub-Saharan Africans are from Melanesians. Of course, to say there's no tangible genetic variation at the molecular level between populations that can be discerned through clustering when the analysis is based on the correlated structure of multiple genetic loci would be inaccurate and I don't believe that is what @PolishHeadlock2 is saying, or denying. The aforementioned is largely geographically structured, the result of evolutionary processes and adaptation to different climatic environments which took place from being comparatively isolated for tens of thousands of years.

As an example, my genetic ancestry:

It appears as though your race is different than mine...

Twitter is not a public institution of education. It's a private company and if you use it, you MUST agree to their rules. If you don't like it, then make your own blog.

<BC1>

Correct, schools are supposed to be institutions of education funded by the public, not cash giveaways against the will of the taxpayers to race grifters peddling their revisionist history of self pity and trying to play the victim. Some states want their schools to give an actual education instead of abusing children and forcing them to join your cult.

And while we're at it, the government can also stop subsidizing and giving special legal protections to billionaires and corporations to censor their political opponents as well.

I don't have kids but we should be teaching equality. If I had kids I'd never let them attend a school with this racist ideology.

not this "race is a social construct" retardation again. it's the "patriarchy!!!" yell from the feminists, only adapted to guild-ridden white people.
it literally only has an outlet in small safe space liberal taliban hovels like some universities in america and western europe and in some groups of online dweebs worried that they are being too white. the rest of the world literally shrugs, rolls their eyes and moves on with their lives.

Just wait until you find out about DNA and the Human Genome. The shit is going to blow your mind......

Its like arguing semantics, you could say we have different sub species if you prefer, tho newer times mass immigration and intermingling has made people having more of a varied ancestry, opposed to ancient times where you were unlikely to wed someone further than maybe 2 villages away.

The thing with my original post about crt, is its much like the bible. When you open a book and the first thing you read is equivalent to 2+2=69, you probably shouldnt take the rest of the content seriously.

Race, or if you prefer, sub species, is not some magical social construct, there are differences. We know this because it can be used for example to distinguish remains.

Now im not peddling some backwards 1930s aryan supremacist who is smarter theories, as those are not based on science, but on ignorance and hate. Much like crt has been mingling pseudo science, real science and straight up opinion pieces to peddle their ideology.

We are all different, but we are all equal. Crt is still crap :D

Why are you against the "free market" bro? :)

It really is impressive (and I mean this sincerely) how effective the GOP is at mobilizing its voters to hate things they don't understand. Look how quickly CRT has become a quick way to win the culture war for the right, you can see it in the high fiving over DeSantis banning it from schools. The pack celebration of ridding the world of something you were told is scary is a powerful force.

Of course there is that kneejerk reaction from white people who have a very fragile sense of self worth to see any movement that seeks to teach about the systems of this country as an attack on them personally. You know that old quote about equality feeling like oppression to the oppressive class.

again I will ask cause some odd reason I won't get a simple answer you don't have kids why do you care if this gets banned ? Yes it is teaching people we should be equals anymore.

Because caring about people that aren't me or my spawn is a normal thing.
But it is teaching kids that you should feel bad about things that never happened to them in thier whole life's.
