Terrible Tech support

@newjerseynick
Friend, have we discussed this show? I took 10 years out of IT but way back in again.

No we unfortunately have not.
I vaguely remember seeing a clip of this at some point though.
Is it a long running thing?

Why is my Robocopy so slow?
Are one of the switches causing the issue?

Do not be alarmed. And please be ADA compliant. (He cannot handle the stairs)

Lets start this trend. Everyone call some kind of tech support or customer service on your day off and ask them how their day is going. Tell them you appreciate them and wish them well.

haha, that would be nice, but i'd rather have no one contact me lol. remote work has made it a lot easier for techs in general. easier to deal with a computer, than it is people.

It's finished now, but on Netflix I believe. The IT Crowd. You and I have a similar sense of humour so if you have a spare few with Rogette give it a whirl.

OKAY EVERYBODY KEEP DOING THAT THING I SAID, JUST SKIP THIS GUY.
Thank you for your service!

Word will check it out. Probably soon.
I could use a good distraction.

My solutions for this are all Mac based:

Step one has 3 options.

A- Buy a big mac and jam in into your computer.
Doesnt matter how you get it in there just make sure its all in.

B- Same as option 1 but instead of a big mac use Mac and cheese.

C- Get a copy of Mac and me and stick that into your computer and run it on a continuous loop.

D-invite Mac-auly Culkin to your house.

After you decide which choice works best for you move on to step 2

Step 2 :
Buy a Mac. Or use a diff OS.
All great advice. I'm going to have to go with C. But first, I need to get a Conan O'brien somewhere.

I really miss it. I've worked with dozens of people similar to Roy and Maurice.

I've been an IT department supervisor since 2016 and have 2-3 guys exactly like them . . . I've actually started watching it again on Netflix. I'm trying to get my daughters into it since they're now in the workforce. :)

Awwww, that's cool! Let me know when they get to "I'm disabled", I nearly wet myself.
The company I work at now are relatively normal IT dept wise, but I've worked with oodles of socks and flip flop people over the years.
