I'll state the obvious and say that hannity is not a reporter. He hosts an opinion show.
"You have attracted people who are determined that ideology is more important than facts."
I think this quote from Ted Koppel sums up the plague that cable news has become in the United States. Sean Hannity is not the only host that is guilty of this, there are many others that are similar to him. In the past, Koppel has said similar things about Bill O'Reilly and Rachel Maddow.
Do you agree with Ted Koppel that ideologues on "news" programs have had a negative impact on our country's ability to separate fact from opinion?
Here is the exchange for those of you who cannot watch the video:

Hannity is a leech
who feeds off the dimwitted and easily led
to make money
he literally says anything he has to
to make money off morons

He said the same thing to Rachel Maddow just to put things in perspective.
Hannity is the worst of the mainstream talking heads, IMO.
And I bet he could strangle every Shertard that dissed him in this thread.Doesn't Hannity practice MMA? Anyone know who his favorite fighter is?
I'd fuck him up with 2 weeks MMA trainingAnd I bet he could strangle every Shertard that dissed him in this thread.
Hannity gets so much hate. This man is exactly what America needs. Too many Americans are getting brainwashed by the left. Hannity provides mind changing facts that shook liberals all the way to the core. Believe me.
I included that in the post of mine that you quoted.
This wasn't really meant to be a Sean Hannity bashing thread, as much as it was meant to question the entire premise of "opinion news" programs, and whether or not they are damaging political discourse across the entire spectrum. Ted Koppel happens to be talking to Hannity, but he's not really singling him out. He's basically saying the industry in which Hannity has made his millions is garbage.

Oh no, he didn't waste his time in college and instead got a real job and actually did something with his life. Now he has a life of experience and knowledge that he didn't obtain from sitting on his ass in class all day long. Yeah, better make sure to never listen to this guy who went from being a low-tier contractor to having his own talk show and making a fuck ton of money.
That being said, Hannity is often over the top, but for a long time nobody had the balls to say the shit he was saying on the air. I hate the way he'll ask his guest a question with a pompous arrogance and then cut them off when they really make him look silly. But hey, most of them follow that same protocol.
Regardless, he's done well for himself and who gives a shit if he didn't finish school? He made something out of himself anyway.
Sean?
is that you?
Jesus
way to white knight some TV asshole
nobody had the balls to say what he says because most of it is either false or too stupid for normal people
he nut hugs anyone in office and panders to fox news zombies
snake oil salesmen always have fools wiling to buy their products
guess you got a closet full of hannity's miracle elixir
Amazing response with meme included... seeing a pattern of morons here. Congratulations! I even said I don't always agree with Sean and I'm not shill for him in any manner. But he had some balls to get on the air and say things which he knew weren't PC or popular. You are free to dispute what he says and debate that in any manner that you wish.
My main point in responding to @nac386 was to refute his suggestion that Hannity is an idiot simply because he didn't finish college. Tons of people didn't finish or attend college and have led successful and fulfilling lives. Didn't Bill Gates drop out of college as well?
Regardless, glad you posted a meme and had no real substance to your post.
Agree 100 percent.
This has been my criticism of the partisan leftists and those on the right...
More and more, Political Dogma is considered to be more important and credible than facts.
