    Anyone recommend MMA fights with good technical striking but are still pretty exciting? Just got done watching Machida/shogun 1

    Aside from the fight you watched, I'd say:

    Any Sam Stout fight (I watch his fights over and over again)
    Any GSP fight (awesome speed and combos)
    Pat Barry's fight before Crocop
    Michael Mcdonald from K-1
    Alan Belcher (very under rated muay thai)

    I think it was technical on Nog's end. Shogun was a bit wild on the feet (and of course both showed technical skill on the ground).
