There's a thread on another forum (which I wont link to because I'm not sure its allowed) in which the lady that ran Team Tanner and people close to Evan are telling John Hayner to stop selling the T-shirt. The thread also implies that the Tanner family are not happy with John Hayner selling the shirts. If you want further proof PM me and I'll give you a link to the thread on the forum I'm talking about.

The proceeds aren't going towards the Tanner family, correct?....*smh* if thats the case.

shit if thats true then this guy is one piece of shit scumbag. especially after directly lying about it. It's the same john hayner that was on inside mma was it not and it described him and jokers as pretty close friends ?? Sending you a PM tartan so you can link me to that forum.

It seems the t shirt isn't for sale any more, just as I was about to order one :(.

The Team Tanner email

Hello everyone. I wish this email was one of those that I would send with news of the next fight or the next tshirt..........

I spoke with Evan's family today and they have finalized Evan's memorial. His memorial will be held in Amarillo, TX on September 27th at 2:00 p.m. at the Civic Center. The Civic Center is located at 401 South Buchanan Street.

If anyone wishes to send flowers or cards, they can be sent to Jeff Tanner, 504 S Harrison Street, Amarillo TX 79101. The family has also set up a memorial fund with The Amarillo National Bank. If you are interested in donating to his memorial fund, please email me for details.

I have received so many emails about purchasing a shirt, beanie, etc. I do not know Evan's family's plan for Team Tanner so I do not have the information you are looking for. The family has a lot to absorb and also needs time to mourn the loss of Evan so please respect that. If and when they decide to move ahead with shirts, etc, I have kept all of the emails and someone will be able contact them with the details.

I want to say thank you to everyone. This adventure has blessed my life. Being a part of Team Tanner and getting to know so many people who believed in Evan like I have has been an amazing experience that I will cherish for my whole life. Evan was so many different things to so many different people but the one thing holds true, he touched our lives in a way that only Evan was capable of doing. At times I feel so sad and I look around and wonder how can life just keep moving on but it does and I know he would not want sadness for any of us. I hope that his words, his message will be heard and will carry on forever and change the lives of so many others as it has changed all of ours. Again, thank you for this privilege.

As always,

Kyria-Proud member of Team Tanner

Yea, I just went to get that t shirt and it is either sold out or not selling anymore. If ANYONE has any info on this shirt (I'm a huge fan and really really want one) please please let me know through PM or post I would love to buy one. Thanks.

I placed an order for one on September 8th (right before the news, actually) and it still has not arrived yet. My credit card was charged by Driving Force, and I sent them an email through their website. I haven't heard back yet, but I will wait a few more days before I bother them by phone.

The shirt was listed for sale up until yesterday on the Driving Force site. Either they took them down or they sold out.

I am more concerned that I won't get the shirt I ordered, or the money back from the transaction.

Does anyone know of other online retailers to get one?

I guess the next step is to call them until I get an answer.

Personally, I don't understand why they wouldn't sell them, even with the tragedy. It is a nice way for fans to connect and memorialize Evan in a positive way.

Keepo spreading his message to everyone.

I'm all about remembering Evan Tanner but what you dont seem to realise is Evan spent money getting these shirts made and someone else is profiting from it. Evan wasnt materialistic he wouldnt want to be remembered by a t-shirt, go out and do some good for the world that's waht he would have wanted not people wearing a t-shirt.

Why can't I memorialize one of my favorite MMA fighters in my own way? I love the shirt and it stands for something I believe in, as well as Evan's philosophy on everyday life.

I don't think criticizing how someone remembers Evan is something you should be doing. WHat you don't understand is that Evan was a business partner of John Haynor @ Driving Force, as well as a close friend.

I spoke with John over the phone today and he told me that the shirts will be going out this week. They closed their offices for a week to deal with the tragic loss of Evan, and now they are trying to get the business back to normal. He explained Evan's role with the company and as a friend to Drving Force, so you couldn't be further from the truth in your statements.

If anyone else is interested in a shirt, I suggest you call Driving Force directly about purchasing one. They might have taken it down for the last week, so they wouldn't be flooded with requests.

LOL at you questioning what I know. John Hayner is a fraud. I PM'd you with a link to a thread on another forum that has posts from not only the person that ran team tanner but close friends of evans who have spoken to his family.

His family DO NOT want the shirts sold, the lady that ran team tanner has also stated that Evan would NOT have wanted John Hayner selling the shirts.

I'm not going to get into an argument with you about a t-shirt. If that's how you want to remember Evan then fine. But as for John Hayner stating that they closed their offices for a week, how is that I've heard of others having called them and spoken to them this week and also others having recieved emails? And Evan was not the business partner of John Hayner he barely knew the guy. Also how is it that John Hayenr could appear on inside MMA to promote the shirts if he was grieving??

Seriously man i respect you for wanting to remember a legend but read that thread I sent you the link to I doubt you'll be defending John Hayner after you do.
