They will start with a SUPER expensive ultra deluxe version (usually in the $1000-$15,000 range) and then later come out with a standard affordable version (typically $50-$150).

I own a number of them already and am looking to buy the Shining and Rocky ones next, and Arnold some time after that. Would recommend.

Id love to visit London just to go see the Kubrick archive and fanboy out on all the shining material they have there

That'd be cool for sure, but I think they put most of it in the book.

(This is the basic $125 set - The Brown and red books are mostly identical between sets, except in the basic set the brown book is shrunk down to match the size of the red book (compare pictures with the deluxe set and you can really see how massive the brown book is there..... like a full size pillow), and funny enough, they added additional info to the basic set because it came out after the deluxe. A few more never before seen pictures and another page or two of info. But otherwise, the deluxe set includes a couple of scripts, notes, special artwork that was made during the making of the movie, a special ephemera box, and more. But the bulk of the info in the main book is nearly identical in either set. Over 1300 pages worth)
