I like the idea of a Bill origin. A story of Bill, about how Bill became Bill and the three godfathers that made Bill: Esteban Vihaio, Pai Mei, and Hattori Hanzō.”

Man, this could work very well as an epic-form miniseries.

I do like these Tarantino throw away comments leading to "What is".

My favourite was his idea for a 60s set one-off Bond story with Pierce Brosnan back for Casino Royale.

Tarantino tried to get the rights before they brought Daniel Craig in but the producers weren't interested.

This was Brosnans version of meeting him.

“It was after Kill Bill Vol 2, and he wanted to meet me, so I went up to Hollywood one day from the beach, and I met him at the Four Seasons,” Brosnan said.

“I got there at 7pm, I like to be punctual. 7.15pm came around, no Quentin, he was upstairs doing press. Someone sent over a martini, so I had a martini, and I waited till 7.30pm, and I thought, where the heck is he? Word came down, apologies, so I thought, okay, I’ll have another martini.”

When Tarantino did eventually arrive, Brosnan admitted that he was rather drunk, and that once the director joined him for a martini or two, they were both “fairly snokkered”.

“He was pounding the table, saying you’re the best James Bond, I wanna do James Bond, and it was very close quarters in the restaurant and I thought, please calm down, but we don’t tell Quentin Tarantino to calm down,” Brosnan said.

While he did not reveal any specifics for Tarantino’s vision of a Bond film, he said he “went back to the shop” and told showrunners but “it wasn’t meant to be”.

Seems interesting. But I still want Vol 3. I don't care if it's animated or a TV show or even a novel. I need Vol 3. QT can't edge us this hard for this many years about it and then just not do it.

Damn fools. First saying no to QT and then to Nolan. (And I think they even said no to Spielberg decades ago)

I'd be happy to get anything in the Bill universe again. Prequel or sequel doesn't matter. I trust him to make it fun.

sequel following vernita greens daughter coming for revenge against beatrix and her daughter
I'm wondering if that should really be the premise.

I mean, who would you root for in that scenario? The daughter didn't really do anything wrong, so she doesn't deserve to die. And the bride is the hero we know and love who was just exacting well-deserved revenge, so she's not the bad guy.

It just wouldn't have the same vibe.

If they do it, they should call it Kill Beatrix though

I either imagined it or I can't find evidence, Tom Cruise once said he desperately wanted to work with QT(I think in context of having QT direct a mission impossible). I think if they could get an idea together it would have a great chance of making it through the studios.

Kill Bill is my least favorite Tarantino movie. I don't really care for Bill and his origin story.
I thought Jackie Brown worse but agree Bill overrated in my opinion.

A Pulp Fiction sequel would excite me.

With vegetable Bruce? Nah I'm good. Pulp Fiction is a well-closed story IMO that needs no sequel. Whos story do you want to see expanded?

I agree they should not touch Pulp Fiction at all.

There's no reason for that.

Everything is squared away.

Kill bill having that comic/superhero action lends itself to extend the story

I like the nods like when they bring up Alabama from True Romance in Reservoir Dogs.

Even though RD came first, it's awesome to later on think of Mr. White pullin robberies with Alabama.

if it ever happened im sure tarantino could build a complex story to what happened to the girl afterwards, how it effected her and make the audience sympathize. and yea maybe not go after the daughter just beatrix. you could be rooting for both, show beatrix just trying to survive getting hunted by a young dangerous assassin hellbent on revenge. beatrix told the girl if she ever felt a way about what happened, she'll be waitin 👀
