Because it's the same across all pro sports? Always add an inch or two. Plus in the UFC guys fluctuate listed heights. And you take a look at guys like DC and Romero who are clearly shorter than listed. He'll Rozenstruik is listed at 6'4 yet he's been 4 inches shorter than everyone else he's fight listed at 6'4 lol

The NBA started requiring actual heights either this year or last year and it was very interesting. The skill level required by some of the 5 ft 9-10 guys to even be in the league is absurd.

I am over 6 foot

You clearly don't know how pro sports work lol, it's a very common theme and very well known that inches are added to height, especially to smaller athletes. In the UFC they have guys listed heights change fight per fight, leading to the joke around here that they're 'height cutting'



If you think Daniel Cormier is 5'11 you should probably check out Jeff Monson's listed height then look at when they fought eachother. Same can be said about Yoel and his opponents.



And Rozenstruik was listed to be the same height as Overeem and Ngannou

That’s some good info but the shortest at MW is Deron Winn. He’s 4’8 at best
