Takanori Gomi vs Melvin Guillard added to Rizin 11

Hoping for Gomi. Good fight, it's better they're fighting each other, than fighting young guys who'll put them to sleep.

interesting matchup. guillard may be officially winless since 2014, but he's fought nothing but studs.

They are going to need to turn the A/C off when these two fight to ensure no gusts of wind interfere and KO any of the fighters.

Ugh, a few years ago I would have absolutely loved it as a potential barnburner, but with the way Melvin and Gomi crumble nowadays it could get really ugly.
But it's a good matchup, two older fighters who probably still have some power going at it. Decent matchup, Rizin did way worse.

A decade ago :)

A few years ago we had JZ Cavalcante vs Guillard, it already felt rotten...

Really good match-up. I hope Gomi takes this one.

Can't see Gomi winning this with the way he fights now. Guillard will TKO him in the first two minutes guaranteed.

1-7 vs 0-7-1 in their last 8 fights each. I'll watch, but it's hard to see how far both guys have fallen. I want to pick Gomi, but see Guillard catching him early.

This is at 160.

Guillard missed 170 by 11 pounds recently. So not sure he'll make it.

Guillard by murder

He may be shot but gomi's chin/boxing are way worse

Also, i would bet draw/dq for this bout since Guillard will probably show up overweight
