Hey guys , if this topic is posted elsewhere feel free to point me in the right direction.

I have heard and read good reviews for the TB program. It appears to align with my goals. I am a police officer and former grunt in the Corps. So my goals are pretty broad as I want to get myself to run as fast as I can, as long as I can and At the same time become stronger and more explosive with weights and body weight.

With such vague goals, is this a program for for me ?
I am usually against paying for Work out programs. Thoughts?

This is the program I've been using for the past year and it's well worth it. It's a simple waved periodization model that you can customize to 2, 3, or 4 days of work. I'm using it alongside some pretty demanding frequent muay thai training and my strength is still going up. I've been using Fighter template (logged here in great detail) but that's a twice/week template. You might be better served with the 3 day operator or 4 day Zulu template.
There's a few logs on here that'll give you an idea if it's for you. Bottom line, solid, simple program that focuses on the fundamentals and can be adapted to those that need a lot of strength training, or the bare minimum. Has been very effective for me.

Tactical Barbell's great! It's nothing new under the sun as far as the actual programming...but the way it allows you to mesh your strength work with other skills training is simple and brilliant. It's flexible without compromising effective strength training principles. I also like the frequency of each lift, makes for easier & quicker strength gains. This is pretty much my go-to program now.

531 is another program that might be of interest to you, it's also a flex program that works well if you have multiple training goals like conditioning, bodyweight work etc..

Also, have you checked out Stew Smith's stuff? Very military/police specific.

i do it. is good. lifting feels fine. is normal. me like it. no police. is normal. is good.
