There is a reason why a bartender laughed and smiled when me and 2 friends were in Lithuania when we told we are finnish. Our drunken ways are known over there eventhough eastern europeans are able to drink themselfs :icon_lol:Sometimes we get drunk, yell at players on tv and talk to our imaginary drunk-friends. We have a culture of our own...
ps. Rawe, jos oot suomalainen, etkai vain satu olemaan Julle?
Guess so. Most teens here if they are doing stupid stuff, i just look at them with normal and neutral face, they usually stop. I am not even a big guy, 5'7.Can't be as bad as the UK, we have the shittiest teens after the US

I am finnish indeed, though my name is not Julle. Though who knows if i introduced myself to someone with that name!
Why you ask?
Nah thats not me. Unless i go to those forums when i am drunk, who knows:icon_lol:I know a guy who was with a "Rawe" nickname. We kept meeting everywhere, in different forums, last.fm, different sites... Everywhere. His nickname was Rawe in everyplace, his name was Julle. Or maybe Julle was just how they called him. Maybe he was Juhani, Jussi or something like that... Just asked because of your nickname
And yeah, i stopped drinking beer at early age, nowadays drinking booze and liqueur only. When other people from different countries mention us as a drunks.. I dont mind. In fact when I take a look around, I think that they are right.
While drinking, we share a rare feeling of sociality here. Too bad that drinking leads to fights and deaths too often.

Haha ye, when i was traveling around Denmark, Norway and Sweden few years back. When after 2.5 weeks i came to Stockholm and met few finnish people, walking around and talking in finnish, i was quite shocked at it. The cursing and being rude at times, lol it was just....... idk almost scared me
Yeah true that, shame some people cant control their drinking. (btw check my latest post in pics and multimedia, in the would you bang the girl posted above thread. The best Finland has to offer:icon_lol![]()
I have no idea what is the deal with that girl, whatever it is just keep me away from her. So far i managed to do just that, though that might be because i train alotARGH, Tuksu... Just horrible... Although as having mental problems myself, im curious about her mental health at the times. She seems to lose it every now and then pretty badly...
And yeah, everytime I go to Norway, Sweden or some typical country for vacation (Greece, Cyprus, Spain etc) when people hear that im from Finland, they immediatelly curse in finnish. PERKELE!
While I think we have some ugly girls here, we have some stunning girls too. Beautiful and sexy on the eye, but in the end, I think there are better wife material in some other countries. I may be wrong though, I am not a smart or knowing person myself.

Thats average fin for you, i just laugh at them though
Well you just need to find the noncrazy ones in any country you are in or go to?
Yeah i liked Norway alot too. Though if i move to live somewhere else, its gonna be Spain most likely.
Nah its fine i reckon. Aslong you dont act like an idiot its fine. Lately i been talking alot to this french guy who is studying there and he seems to be falling in love with a girl from Iran. He also mentioned that in his dorm everyone is from different European country, about 7 people in total. One of those countries was Lithuania, cant remember the rest, one might been Russia. So aslong you act "normal", you will be just fine in Scandinavia (Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway). Hell i know one portuguese dude that has been living in Finland for years and he cant even speak finnish or atlest i speak english with him:icon_lol:.My Grandmother's family came from Norway. I've always wanted to visit. Are there a lot of anti American sentiments around there? I've heard a lot of European folk dont care for us 'Mericans for some reason I cannot fathom.

Sounds like pretty good advice.
Do you live in some shit hole like WI or something? Try Seattle, San Diego, Boston.
I warn you though, Norway is damn expensive. Even by Scandinavian standards. Thanks for the responses, gents. I try to avoid foolish behavior in public. Nowadays anyway haha. I'd love to make it to Europe, I'm not well traveled at all.

Its not that oncommon for young swedes to go work in Norway and work long hours as a waiter and live in some small aparment for like 6 months a year then rest of the year go back to Sweden and do nothing at all :icon_chee

Crazy salaries there, but for a tourist, its horrible since the prices are high as hell.
