Surgery POSTPONED P#71. AMA

Bring a battle buddy if they are putting you under.... no telling what those degenerate doctors and nurses will do to you when unconscious.

In my definitive Sherdog Prostate thread I discuss my journey with BPH.

In summary, have been on meds for six months. Have now had two urologists tell me the flow increase is not sufficient and that I risk permanent damage to my bladder due to retention.

Next week I'll be having my first ever hospital visit (one night is the plan) and surgery (water jet ablation of the prostate).

I will need to be sedated for the procedure and expect to have a catheter for 3 to 5 days. AMA!

Ouch, sorry to hear dude.

I hope everything goes well for you sherbro.

Good recovery man!

I'm terrified of catheters. I told my wife if I ever need a catheter just pull the plug and let me die.

Of course I've never had one before and guys that have don't seem to share my irrational fear so maybe they're not so bad.

It's been decades since Viagra came out. Men are owed another giant breakthrough in peen health care. I hope it'll be a cure for enlarged prostates.

I think you will feel relief after it.

I'm pussying out of oral surgery, got 3 death roots I need to surgically remove. That's like 20-25 minutes each. Get injection then have doc cut the gums open and rip out the root remains.

No real pain but it drives me nuts to feel the doc tearing shit out in my mouth.

I know this doesn't compare but still wanted to share.

So here's to you feeling much better afterwards.

See if you can find out how many of the nurses were or are still are strippers.

What about sedation dentistry? Then you'll be asleep.

I’m not yet 30 and have no surgery history but it is one of the very few things in this world I am scared of. I really don’t understand how surgeons even do it but they deserve all the praise.

I have no question but genuinely hope everything works out with no complications!

They are already shoving stuff up his ass... what else has he got to be worried about?

I think they might be shoving stuff up his penis!

I've had a catheter twice when I had my knees replaced and they weren't any problem. It was kind of nice not having to get out of bed to pee. I often thought it would be handy at bars if they had hookups so you didn't constantly have to go to the bathroom.

We are living in an era with the most advanced medicine in human history. As far as procedures go that is minor and easy for the doctors. You’ll be good as new in no time.
