Any chance Pinnacle mobilizes into the USA?This could be a big deal for us in the US. No doubt New Jersey will allow it. I'm sure other states will follow.
I'd be a happy camper if CA legalizes it and The Indian Casinos allowed it
Not entirely sure how online books would work. Since it would be a state by state thing.Any chance Pinnacle mobilizes into the USA?
Online books will probably have to offer better odds to compete imoNot entirely sure how online books would work. Since it would be a state by state thing.
Only thing that would suck is I am sure CA would find a way to get their taxes out of this.

new jersey is gonna start but all states are now allowed to implement it basically. there are like 5 other states that plan on getting it set up immediately too if i remember correctlyi thought it was new jersey only? but even then it will open the floodgates to a LOT of untapped money into the industry, and specifically mma too. I have to imagine many states will allow online books, which would be amazing for everyone in here. it will mean a lot more lines, lines opening sooner, more options for avoiding limits, less juiced odds due to the competition, and the possibility for exchanges to get a foothold in the us market.
omg have you been betting on 5dimes as a US citizen?! quick, everyone, call the government!didn't even know sports betting was illegal in america...
never really thought about dimes being an .eu domain...
I've never tried to cash out before, so I really don't know how this shit works, is it technically illegal for a us citizen to bet on dimes?
Not exactly, it's illegal to run a sportsbook in the U.S, or one that takes action from U.S. customers, hence why the overseas online sportsbooks operate servers, domains and banking far from the long arm of U.S. jurisdiction.didn't even know sports betting was illegal in america...

Time to open a bar/sportsbook in beautiful Orange County. Live betting at tables. Flat screens everywhere. Hot ladies serving the drinks
You sharks will be rolling in it in no time once the sports media outlets start handing out gambling advice.

Was just about to post the same thread. I'm in the UK so doesn't make any difference to me but I'm sure there's some happy US degenerates today!!
Didn't really think about that. Not that I consider myself a shark, but nor do I think I'm some schlub mark either. Moderately profitable over a LONG period of time (12+ years). Good call Sharkey, I was thinking there would be more "dumb" or "dead" money out there, but didn't really consider some of the stupid stuff talking heads will throw out there just for attention that could influence the new influx of money coming in.
