Superstar Billy Graham has died. If you were a wrestling fan in the 70s or 80s, you were almost certainly rooting for or against someone who was directly influenced by the Superstar - Rhodes, Flair, Hogan, Ventura, etc. etc.



He should've had a much longer WWWF title run imo. I think the problem was that you had this big, hulking, golden-adonis jive talking technicolor heel that half the audience was cheering for, and Vince Sr. simply didn't know what to do with him.

I think I just missed his prime.
 
Guy seemed to be at death's door for the past 25 years.

Almost certainly self-inflicted, but he probably had a miserable time of it in his twilight years.
