Which movie's better?
Which movie's more iconic?
What did each movie do right/wrong?

batman was overrated imo.

Vicki Vale sucked, there was no real intrigue in Bruce Wayne, I hated how they changed the story line as to how Joker killed his parents.

the only redeeming character was Jack Nicholson.

Better movie = Batman
Iconic = I want to say Batman, but realistically probably Superman

What did the films do right or wrong? I don’t know. I mean I absolutely loved Batman. It’s been one of my favourite movies as long as I can remember. Superman is good, albeit a little boring at times.

Superman had fantastic special effects for the time and a great John Williams score. But I really hate the fact that he spun the world backwards and reversed time. Ruined the movie.

Batman had an amazing look and atmosphere. The story was a little weak but still better than Superman.

This. If he can just reverse time whenever he wants then the entire movie(s) are pointless. If anything bad happens, just reverse time and prevent it.

I hated that about Infinity War and End Game too. What's the point if everyone can just time travel and "fix" things?

Agreed. I watch infinity war and just pretend the story ends there. Thanos won.

That's not how it worked in End Game though. They weren't able to undo their own reality. They had to travel to other timelines and temporarily borrow their infinity stones to reform the Infinity gauntlet and make a wish. Still took an incredible amount of work to accomplish and they had to return the stones afterwards. They never got those 5 years back.

The Infinity gauntlet was the OP plot device in those movies, not the time travel aspect.

Probably in the minority but I prefer Supe. I watched them both in 4k recently and Batman kinda bored me. It’s still good and atmospheric but I prefer gritty, detective Batman instead of cartoon Batman.

Meanwhile, Superman the movie is a great origin story and captures the innocence and optimism of Superman perfectly which is my favorite portrayal of the character.

Both feel a little dated but I can watch Superman easier than Batman.

Batman was the better movie.

Superman was the better version of the character.
Superman was the best version of Clark Kent.

Which IMO is what made it great along with Margot Kidder and their chemistry together.

I liked Batman Returns better then the first one.

I believe what was sposed to have happened is that Sups went faster that light and went back in time.
