Few weeks ago MMA was apparently doomed.
How long has UFC been talking to Brock. Was it a contingency plan to put Conor in place ?
UFC 100....100...100 echoing in Dana/Lorenzo's head. Knowing if the PPV was less then Diaz/Mcgregror , then Conor would have won. So can we thank Conor for this ? Probably . But who cares.
Love or Hate Conor, he's making it 2008 all over again.

First off RIP Kimbo.

But what has Scott Coker proven with his Tito Ortiz and other side show fights. Casual MMA fans and even hardcore fans like watching train wrecks. This is why UFC will probably be making a Super Heavyweight division to build around Brock. They can sacrifice cans too him twice a year and it will sale huge PPV numbers Brock won't have to cut, he's probably ready to stop juicing anyway. Maybe we will get to see Bob Sapp .
It's sad that the weight classes under Welterweight , really no one cared about till Conor came along. Still don't really get the respect they deserve. Pettis did help make Lighweight maybe the cut off.
People would rather watch two freaks of nature or science with a 1/3 of skill bang on each other. Numbers don't lie.

Purists will cry and pretend to be angry, but will watch. UFC has to beat Bellator to crossing over with WWE? It's the demographic they covet. With everyone's history with Spike TV. It's whoever beats each to the punch first.

Uncle Dana and Lorenzo are stealing from the masters playbook. In a way I won't be Suprised Motherfuckers, if they started naming the PPVs again.

I can easily see them building the same version of Supery Heavy in woman's around Cyborg.
I'm also expecting UFC Fight Pass and WWE Network to start cross promoting.
Regardless ..the next two years are going to be amazing . If injuries don't ruin it all. With MSG coming up, Nate/Conor 2. This will definitely be probably the most amazing year ever and even better next year.
And I didn't even mention this guy...

Haters gonna hate. I like where things are headed.
