Summery in March (SCO v 31)

New Name today, Hunter?

Crazy Diamond, huh?

(you got the 'Crazy' part right...)

Hill, please stick to reality.

Was he charged with conspiracy? No.

To your second point. John Kerry.

Flynn was a foreign agent. Your classifications for wrongdoing are not stringent.

John Kerry was not in the WH, but I believe he should be prosecuted, as it is patently illegal, what he did. Does it make what Flynn did even approaching ok? If you're not a hypocrite, the answer is a definitive no, so why defend these people?

I'm not some Obama guy, do you get that yet? All of these fuckers need to be under the harshest of scrutiny, and need to be prosecuted for crimes, if found guilty.

That’s a really long way to admit that he wasn’t charged for conspiracy.

Refresh us, was he a foreign agent for Russia? Nope. So there’s twice you look stupid in that post.

Lastly, why is it so hard for liberals to address the reality of politics? What Kerry and Flynn did is not uncommon, why would I throw a hissy fit about it? I get that liberals like to throw hissy fits. Ya know, it probably explains why you think about politics like children.

Right wingers want the country of their childhoods back, this is clear, and makes your little petty critique an oddity.

Yeah yeah, the Guardian, but it's quite odd to defend the guy when you see said timeline. It's pretty damning, and it seems rather obvious as to why he lied to investigators, then flipped.

I would like to see men like Kerry and Flynn put in jail for their crimes, and I don't care about their "side". This seems to be the difference between you and I. You play this coy game like you want to hold people like Trump accountable, yet defend and obfuscate at every turn. It's rather Carvell-ish.

No, I play the game of politics.

The left plays the game of “let’s pretend”. If you want to win, I advise looking at politics through the lens of reality, vs right/wrong and what you want it to be.

Or, keep,on being disappointed, I really don’t care.

What a somewhat clever hand hide. Seems a reprise to abandon any morality or ethics. Where could I spot this type of rhetoric in history, hmmmm?

It's ironic you speak of let's pretend vs. reality while our president is pushing against obamacare for the third time, insisting he has a plan.

I would like leaders who aspire to be like our founders, not some Sultan or King.

I have always maintained this position. I’ve posted about it for years, and mocked those who don’t.

Also in the tradition of reality, you should check out my posts on the recent healthcare news. Suffice to say, everyone had a good laugh when I was accused of being a leftist shill by a new member.

You think the founding fathers didn’t play politics? Washington found out the hard way it’s the only way to win.

Yes, they played politics, but political victory was not their chief goal, national unity was. This "Fuck what's right, just win" mentality is the exact type of shit that will only divide the American people further, and ensure actual improvement within our culture never happens, as issues will become ever used wedges in the game. I would rather see that shit stop, and I think if you share that sentiment, you don't take a sort of Ayn Rand state of nature position.

Sad. Politicians are our employees, you should be pissed when they turn out to be unethical pieces of shit. Don’t be such a fucking doormat.

That’s an interesting way to say your first post was bullshit.

Find a single agency who states they had any actual impact on the election, oh that’s right, you can’t.

<TheDonald>

No agency was tasked with that question though, as how would one even research that, as it was about misinformation? It would be even harder than researching what effect Comey's decisions to break with DOJ tradition had on the outcome.

Obviously, nobody can seriously say that Russia won the election for Trump, but it obviously had some effect, and we are talking about Trump pulling off an improbable upset by threading the electoral needle winning 78,000 key votes in three states while losing the general by a cool 3 million votes. Trump won, and that is what Russia wanted, so @andnowweknow saying that Russia succeeded is true, they helped get the guy they wanted, and they succeeded in creating distrust in the American democracy. And Trump made excuses all along for Russia, lied about his business and his boy's interactions with Russia, and said he believed Putin over his own intelligence agencies in front of the world.

And let's not forget, Hillary actually sat with the FBI for 3 hours and answered their questions, something Trump's lawyers would not allow him to do making up bullshit about an interview being a "perjury trap", which doesn't exactly scream innocent, no?

And, while we are on it, quixotic Comey lost in the end in his attempt to demonstrate that the FBI was above politics by trying to appease the vast majority of right wingers who thought the Clinton email investigation would have resulted in Hillary going to jail if not for some nebulous and ineffable deal Bill cut with Lynch in Tarmacgate.The right wingers ended up hating and distrusting the FBI after 2 years of the right wing media bashing them and the entire DOJ, though as soon as they hear that Mueller is not seeking indictments surrounding conspiracy they suddenly have no more questions, and are acting like the left wanting to actually see the Mueller report is tin foil hat stuff. I mean can you imagine the rage of the right if Comey had just turned over the decision surrounding Hilary's emails to Lynch, or even worse, imagine if Lynch had recused herself, Obama fired her and specifically hired someone whom he spoke at length regarding the case and who expressed a viewpoint on the case in way that favored Hillary?!?!

He lied about secret meetings he did not disclose in his clearances.

That money was owed to Iran, per an agreement. Agreements need to be kept. When assets are unfrozen, they are given back. Idiot.

He lied of what was said in a phone call dummy. You are beyond stupid. Source that it was private meetings while in the white house Or fuck off

The money was not owed in cash on a secret flight. A secret plane in the middle Of the night. Just imagine Trump doing that with Russia. You'd scream at the moon for an entire night.

Don’t mistake my recognition of “what is”, for support of it.

The day there is a serious push for term limits, I’ll muster an inkling of hope.

PS, lol at a democrat talking about national unity, a solid chunk of them straight up hate America.

Turns out Flynn was in the Trump tower meeting, which everyone lied about for years.

Flynn engaged in, then lied about direct communications with Sergei Kizlyak on more than one occasion. These calls were during a period in which Barack Obama's administration was still in office. This is patently illegal, and insanely unethical. (Bring up Kerry, and watch a door show you no resistance upon a push) You can't lobby foreign governments about things like sanctions while you are not in office. This is serious.

I’ll give her this, Hillary’s performance in her Benghazi testimony (and others) was an impressive feat. True, she had a gaffe or two, but I’m not sure Trump could sit still for 9 hours, let alone stay on message.

Comey, is a fucking 12 foot tall douche. “If only I was stronger”...

<36>

Well go to the gym FFS!!!

PS.. Hillary got a pass (like all rich powerful people). Any objective observer would come to that conclusion. In hindsight, it would have actually helped her if she got a slap on the wrist. Instead, it was just another example of out two tier “justice” system.

<Dany07>

If that was the case, we’d have fired the whole lot a LONG time ago.

Politicians were NEVER the American Peoples' employees.

They just say that so they'll continue to get VOTES to be elected.
