Hasn't Arsenal lost it the last few years?

That's kinda my point. It should be evolution not revolution....SAF is obviously partly to blame here as well.

2-3 ins and 2-3 outs per year is normally a good winning formula. Not 5-6.

I'm not judging early, rather annoyed it got to this stage. I'm very hopeful for Shaw, Rojo, Herrera, Depay and di Maria this year.

The squad needed an overhaul post Fergie, everyone agreed with that at the time. It's taken longer than it should have, in large part because Moyes and Woodward failed miserably to address ANY of the squads issues during that first summer. The past two summers have been us badly trying to right all the wrongs from the past few seasons of neglect with very mixed results so far. I do think we have mostly purchased good players who have time to develop and just needed an initial season to settle in. I agree I also have high hopes for those players.

Also, I always hated Hogan. Shit wrestler and an overhyped piece of trailer trash.

At least you brought in quality sides for a preseason test.

Had Valencia and Monaco last year, always seem to bring 1 or 2 big names.

Lmao one year was Real Madrid, arsenal, juventus and the winners Hamburg.

you guys see that pic of that American woman who apparently is dead in her mugshot?

Looks like she is dead, horrible

Clubs like MUFC should never need an overhaul. Should be slowly evolving every year. We really got left behind in the transfer market, even in SAF's last few years.

Consider our defence. We lost Rio, Vidic, Evra at the same time. O'Shea and Brown only a couple years earlier. They were replaced with Smalling, Jones, Shaw, Rojo and Buttner. That's 3 world class players and 2 very solid squad players lost, and 4 (relatively) untried youngsters brought in. It's amazing a club the size of MUFC didn't address this........and still hasn't really.

Overhaul, rebuild whatever the word it wouldn't have been so drastic if Fergie had stayed. It changed everything and once he left we were no different than any other club.

For me the Moyes/Woodward transition season just fucked us lol. We could have purchased Shaw & Herrera that season and shipped off clearly average dead wood players that have taken two more years to get shot of. You think Rio, Vidic & Evra would have all left at once with Fergie in charge? Moyes played a massive part in that, he was the reason Vidic signed with Inter and he did run Rio into the ground. He could have played Jones/Smalling at CB more but instead did what Fergie did and shifted them to RB.
