Real have offered 15m. MUFC have no reason at all to accept this. De Gea is on 60k. MUFC have offered him 160k. By the time you factor in the wages saved and what de Gea brings to the table for a year, 15m is peanuts to us.

Real have also, allegedly, offered de Gea 5m to sign on a Bosman, next year.



Decent offer or not (it's not), MUFC have no reason to sell unless Real make them an acceptable offer.

Why call it shady then, Real and United are just far apart in their view how much they value De Gea's fee?

I agree 15m is too low even with one year contract but then again Real already has Navas and now Kiko Casilla. Not bad goalie line up so Real can wait one year and sign De Gea on free transfer. Though if Real does that maybe De Gea says fuck it and signs a new contract with United.

And as you said if De Gea does leave, United have Cillessen and Romero lined up. Whatever happens, United and Real both have goalie positions more than covered. Just wait and see what happens
