That one poster did. There has been a few more posters who have hyped him prior to the Soukhamthat fight, but the hype died down quickly after what happened.

I for one hope he does fight grapplers, he already got good stand up that can cause problems, I'm more curious about his TDD and how he does against good wrestlers and grapplers. I for one hope he takes on a good wrestler next, we already know what he can do against a striker. I want to see if he can implement his same pressure and style while being defensive.

Did you watch his last fight? He was able to get up 2x from memory in that last round with only one leg. He stayed on the ground after realising that he couldn't stand.
Not sure how he would go against an elite grappler, but I was pretty damn impressed by that. He was also constantly busy from guard and was winning the exchanges for the most part.

I stay away from prospects and hype trains, but I will definitely tune in for his next fight.

I don't get why the UFC are hyping this guy.

He's not that good imo.

He seems marketable, and I gotta saysay that, after underratin him in his last two fights, he's actually pretty crafty for a young guy. Tricky on the feet and on the ground.

He's far from a finished product, but if he continues to improve, I could see him being a contender. He's actually impressed me more than another prospect like Duquesnoy tbh.

I still think his last fight was rigged, there's still no valid excuse for why the opponent didn't simply stand up and win by doctor stoppage, unless the fixed outcome was for O'malley to win, then it makes sense. After seeing their latest string of prospects derailed, would you really put it past UFC/WMA to 'fake it till they make it' with some of these guys?

O'Malley has way more promise, he gets better with every fight. He was destroying Soukmadufnadfn until he broke his foot which was just unfortunate...plus he's much more entertaining than PVZ or Northcutt in and out of the ring.

It's hard to say how far he'll go but he has the skills to be around for a long time and put on some memorable fights.

The injury wasn't spontaneous. O' Malley kicked Soukhathat and it was blocked. Then, his right leg got kicked after that.

As for the context, almost lost to a non top 15/20 showed that O' Malley is no where near being a "top 10 material" as theTKDguy claimed.
