Kevin Lee needs to work on his cardio, nutrition and over all game. He has potential but he's gotta work on it.Huge fan of Kevin but I don't think so, there are levels. He is a still green, Khabib would also make him gas pretty quickly
I posted this before, but Barboza was Khabib's toughest stylistic matchup.
Lee doesn't have the wrestling, BJJ, stand up, or cardio to do anything to Khabib lol.
I'm speaking in terms of actual fighters who exist in the division, currently, yeah Barboza was his toughest stylistic matchup.Barboza is far from his toughest match up, Barboza's striking is too limited when he can't set up with his kicks he can't take advantage of Khabib's weaknesses.
The person to beat Khabib will have good cage and distance management so he can't cut them off easily, good take down defense to defend from Khabib's take downs that aren't from the clinch. Those take downs objectively speaking aren't nearly as strong as his clinch game. And they will need some basic boxing technique to abuse Khabib's limited striking.

What's Edson's TDD, like close to 95%? And he's at least a top 3 striker in the division.
Wasn't that supposed to be the mythical combo to easily defeat Khabib?
Well, Khabib sort of just kept pressuring him and cutting him off so he was going to end up on the cage at some point. Not at all because Edson can not fight while moving backwards. Edson's TDD was irrelevant this fight because he let himself get backed into the cage. No one in the division is going to stop that against the cage, you're going to need to force him to shoot from the outside.
Tony and Conor are always going to be Khabib's worst stylistic matchups.
