Khabib is a defensive/reactive striker. He only engages when his opponents are retreating and defensive. He attempts wrestling, sambo, and judo TDs from everywhere and chains them together extremely well. His footwork and striking defense makes him an effective pressure fighter.

Ronda was a brawler with legit judo skills. She would rush forward and land wild shots on her opponents until they gave up the clinch. She always engaged and had a striking first mentality. He footwork was trash and her defense was worse.

Edmund had Ronda believing she was a great boxer. Khabib has good trainers that won't lead him down a delusional path. He knows what got him where he is. He will spam takedowns until he gets one.
