Others have brought it up in this thread already but to piggy back… Cormier and Jones had a visceral beef and even though I rooted for Jones all the way through their fights etc, Cormier handles himself in a way that I applaud on a human level. He doesn’t stoop too low he also doesn’t actually wish harm to Jones or kick him while he’s down he actually wants to see him get help with the demons he faces. I can respect that. It speaks volumes about a mans character. Also, whereas Cormier is by far the 2nd best in the division’s history whereas Izzy is no actual threat to Jones and knows he would lose if he ever stepped up to face him even at this juncture (Izzy prime, Jones past his).

I don’t see how that is a dig or disrespectful towards Jones late mother. It’s a dig at jon. Jon, however, notoriously asked DC multiple times “who’s your daddy” as a nod to DCs murdered father so even if he was mocking jons mother, I couldn’t give a fuck less. He’s a piece of shit that his mother would be disappointed in unless she’s was an equivalent piece of shit. Nothing else to really see here.

He's right though. That's what the people close to Jones should be telling him, but he probably doesn't give a shit.

This is turning into a Conor Khabib type thing, where their fan groups were one in the same, but then they started beefing and forced those two groups to splinter and pick sides. They are like the Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren of the fight game.
