Fair point, and it's one of the reasons these studies are always too far reaching. Socialism can be adhered to as an ideology for many reasons, empathy being one of them, but as you point out, not the only reason, and it's often the opposite reason.

Edit: Weakness is correlated with lack of test, which is correlated with higher empathy. When studies say that something is correlated, it's more than often overreaching. Ice cream consumption is correlated with shark attacks... but the point I was trying to make is that if the conclusion is that weakness is correlated with socialism, it can be restated as empathy is correlated with socialism.

Why? Are physically weaker men more likely to be homosexual? I fail to see the connection of correlation.

Not really sure if it is entirely true, but I will say that most of the far lefties on all my social media sites are fairly weak-willed, and fragile people. I know that really doesn't amount to much, but it seems to be true, at least from what I've seen these past years. They never really made anything of themselves, and are always bitching about their life being so bad.

Also, Europeans are in general stronger compared to Americans.
Especially Dutch and Northern European. Who also happen to be the more socialist.

So if a conservative gym bro gets injured and is forced to not train for several months, losing tons of muscle mass, would his political views have changed if you re-tested him at that point? The thing is, you know the gym bro will put that muscle back on first chance he gets. To me that suggests personality came first, muscle followed. Maybe men who are more self-interested i.e. low agreeableness are more likely to train because their monkey brain is telling them they need muscle to be able to project strength and control resources, which was true for our ancestors but isn't relevant today.

The constitution gives congress the RIGHT to taxation for common defense(military) to pay down national debt, and common welfare. Let that last one sink in real deep, RIP. I'd be willing to bet you have been a beneficiary from our gov't through tax breaks that you get from pumping out kids and being married. Own a house?
