DC- ChampChamp, arguable GOAT. Record of 10-1(1 NC).

Ronda- Given the UFC belt but defended it 6 times. Record of 6-2.

Woodley- Current champ, 3 title defenses. Record of 8-2-1

Nunes- Record of 9-1. Wins over Ronda, Miesha, Shevy(2x, kinda)

Lawler- Made the UFC Welterweight division greater than it ever was/is/will be. 9-3 Record since coming back from StrikeForce. 3-2 in title fights. Fight-OTY awards.

Cyborg- Champ. Record of 5-0 with 2 title defenses.

Werdum- UFC Champ. 9-3 record. Dethroned Cain(non-sea-level)

Miesha- UFC Champ, headlined UFC 200.

Rockhold- UFC Champ, beat 3 former/future UFC Champs. Record of 6-3.

Romero- FOTY with 185 Champ, probably should've been a draw, arguments for both to win. Beat 3 UFC champs. Top 15 P4P. 9-2 record.

Giblert- Arguably beat Bendo for the belt, downhill from there though.

Jacare- Should've gotten a title shot vs Bisping. 8-3 record.

Overeem- Title Challenger. 8-6 overall though now after the Ngannou & Blaydes brutal KOs. Hoping he retires soon.

Masvidal- Lost a #1 contender fight vs Maia 29-28. A fight where he won 2:30+ seconds of each rounds 2 & 3 on the feet. Outstriking Maia 63-38 in total :(

Mousasi- Record of 8-3. Beat former champs Weidman & Vitor.

Brunson- 9-4(10-3 if you think he beat Anderson).

Larkin- Record of 5-5 overall, but 4-1 at 170 lbs and left with wins over current top 10 WWs Masvidal & Magny.

Thompson- Smoked Nate Diaz, robbed vs Bendo & Green. Whooped by Ferguson in maybe Fergerson's best performance ever. Fun fight go rewatch that one.

OSP- Record of 11-6.

Shields- Record of 4-3(1 NC).

Barnett- Record of 3-2.

Bobby Green- record of 5-3-1

Nick Diaz- Record of 1-2(1 NC), Condit fight was very controversial & could've gone either way(unless you ask Diaz nuthuggers or Condit fanboys). No shame in losing to GSP.

Hendo- Record of 4-7, some iffy split decisons but did earn a title fight vs Jones at UFC 150. Also arguably left as the MW champ, certainly by Pride rules lol.

Kennedy- Record of 3-2. Beat future Champ Bisping, War with Romero.

Anthony Smith- Record of 5-3. Beat Shad, Shogun up next.

Mein- Record of 4-4.

Saffiedine- Record of 2-4, robbed vs Kim though so 3-3.

Trevor Smith- Record of 5-5.

I took a lot of shit back on the day before and during the merger for saying Strikeforce's elite was just as good as the UFC's elite, minus GSP. Looking back on it even I cant believe how much success the SF fighters had & are having. If I forgot anybody let me know. Didn't wanna do all the woman who didn't win gold like Cat, Kaufman, Carmouche, etc.

You could've done a WEC never die a while back too.

At the rate they're putting on shitty cards though, you'll be able to say Bellator gonna die.

Strikeforce was good. WEC was good. Heck, even Pride was pretty good.

Shark Fights were good, WFA was good, IFL was fun, Dream was good.

Some fight orgs. other than the UFC were good...Or so I've heard

Didn’t know that Anthony Smith fought in Strikeforce; for some reason I thought he was younger (not that 29 is old)

Bodogfights never die

Only UFC casuals thought that there was no talent outside of the UFC back then.

That's actually a pretty impressive list.

Cage Rage, IFC, KOTC, ROTR, Gladiator Challenge, BoDog, WVC, Extreme Challenge, SuperBrawl, Shooto, Rings, Elite XC, HookNShoot etc etc etc

I miss the days were damn near every promotion could get a decent headliner and had some good prospects and other solid fighters on it before one company held the Monopoly
