What has Holland done to deserve fighting a top ranked guy?

Sean vs Whitaker or Izzy rematch makes more sense.
And pretty sure Holland is already booked.
 
Holland doesn't belong at 185 at all, let alone near the top of it

Already got destroyed by Roman Doledze and RDR, he should be at WW permanently
 
Could've been fun a while back and I I'd still watch, but, looking at MW rankings - and I don't want no rematches - Strickland not having fought Whittaker and Vettori is kinda strange. I'd like those. But! I really want Strickland vs Khamzat as well.

Right now, I'd book Strickland vs Whittaker on the same card as DDP vs Khamzat.

It's actually a very good fight, the problem is Holland could win that and he would be knocking down a top guy in the division that he just so happens to match up well with, while overall he can't hang with the other top contenders at all. It would be all risk no reward for Strickland.
 
That's just plain stupid. Holland needs to stay at 170 and avoid European grapplers. People shit on Holland but he beats most ranked WWs (division is really badd right now). He wouldn't have any success at MW current landscape
