Strickland is very far from the best competition at MW, be for real lol. He got his first TS completely by luck and managed to capitalize on that. Other than that he’s never really mounted an unassailable #1 title contender campaign, he’s relied on Uncle Dana and his domestic incel fanbase to help him cut to the front of the line.
