When we got that first cast announcement after the movie was announced, I kept that wait and see until we get some photos/trailer approach.

This looks so dumb lol, when Cody Rhodes walked into frame I laughed at how goofy he looked. It looks to be full on not taking itself seriously so ill probably check it out, could be fun if anything.

Trailer is mediocre af, but still "mediocre" is much better than any SF movie we ever got (unless we talk anime ones)

Would even say majority of characters is done right or not terribly

Worst are just Guile and Akuma, and maybe they could have found hotter girl for Chun Li, but overall seems ok

I like the look of a lot of the characters, but the fighting itself looks meh, not realistic (which probably doesnt fit the SF aesthetic anyway) but also not fantastical in a Matrix/Crouching Tiger kinda way where the unrealistic moves still look elegant/cool.

This looks so bad I'm wondering how it even got approved. They should have started small and slow with just Ryu and Ken training similar to that assassins fist web series they did. Maybe throw in one or two more characters like Chun-li and Guile with a side story outside of Ryu and Ken.

Surprised they didn't put Momoa in teh teaser, but maybe they're keeping the mystery for teh trailer.

Whatever about that, I liked a lot of what I saw, & a few were perfect, but I was also uninspired on some other stuff. This will be a must watch for me, but I need to be dazzled a lot more if I'm to hit a theater instead of waiting for digital release.

Agree Chun Li should have more sex appeal. The material is too thick & looks like a cheap halloween costume. The design is supposed to be smaller than teh boobs, not bigger! This is an easy fix if that actress can pull it off with silk or something more revealing. Same with Cami. We need to see those curvez as close to near pornographic as they can get. (much like the game did)

This is so fundamental for any teenager who grew up playing these games that I'm very surprized they didn't get that right. Chun Li actually looked hotter in the dress she wore on stage than that monstrosity she wore in teh teaser... which is crazy.

Cool they use their signature moves a lot, and some of teh Kung Fu was pleasing while some of it looked clunky or was obviously done by someone who's not a martial artist. I hope they clean that stuff up after the ton of feedback they'll surely be flooded with.

Some look like really bad SDCC cosplay, so while more faithful they still look really bad in a different way, like with Guile you kinda understood why they did'n't adapt the hair but now they did , other look worse than the Van Damme version (Vega), thr only thing bad of the VD one is he looked more latino than a blonde spaniard.

I cant deny that 12 year old me went ecstatic for this trailer.

Chun Li's not hot enough. Parts of the sneak peek were too dark to see much of anything. Guile's hair does look silly. I'm assuming the blonde guy was Ken and didn't look right.

Seems like the JCVD movie is coming to Amazon Prime soon. I watched the trailer and I think it was Ming Na Wen as Chun Li and seemed like they reused a clip of her facial acting with her eyes at least twice in the trailer.

chun li in the game has deep slanted eyes. the actress is more true to form than expectation.
