Social Streaming vs physical copies - Which do you prefer?

Books, movies, sports, comics, videogames or cable TV...

Which one do you think is the better option?

I have like 1500 DVDs in storage and they're just taking up room. So streaming for me. I'll keep some special edition, sentimental things that have been gifts and things that aren't available to stream but when I move next I'll take the rest to Goodwill.

I've had firmware updates cause older discs not to play right, or not play at all.

Maybe flashing the firmware update went wrong. Did it show some progress bar and "successful"?
