Books, movies, sports, comics, videogames or cable TV...

Which one do you think is the better option?

Physical, but I recently tried to watch my old Icon Sport DVD of Jason Miller vs Niko Vitale and don't know if disc problem or old player problem, but when I fast forwarded to the main event, it wouldn't play and would stop by itself.

If I really want the movie to own physically , It's strictly 4K. Although I still stream shit and have a decent digital movie catalog. Streaming does not usually beat 4K UHD Disc with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

my eyesight wouldnt be good enough to discern the difference anyway

Streaming is convenient, but I buy my favourite films in physical media so I can rewatch them whenever I want. Some are not always available, or you may not get the extended version online for example.

Used to work for Gamestop 15yrs ago, got an insane amount of "old" games
(PS1,2,N64,SNES, etc etc)
I had a box of old games ,Xbox and 360 , some of them I really liked , like desert storm and time splitters but after going back and playing them they are so cluncky ya cluncky that there not much fun so I gave them all to a friend of mine .
I always thought I would keep everything then put them in a game room with a tv and me and some peeps would one day binge lay some of them but now days it's all online .

I bet working at GameStop you had dibs on any trade in games if I had that many across different platforms I probably keep them forever

Physical média has it's advantages but it's not worth the hassle anymore. Streaming for music and tv, digital buys for games.

I'm very clumsy with handling stuff. I have loads of damaged CD's. They Don't last Long with me at All.

I prefer streaming.

Tons of DVDs, CDs, etc...

I far prefer streaming media... less hassle and clutter.

If I had all the money in the world and the space to put everything i I'd go with physical media all the way, but I just don't. Especially when it comes to music.

Books are the exception though. I just can't do ebooks. Also, I absolutely molest my books. I break the spines, dogear the pages, and write in the margins. I pretty much have to buy. I do make a point of trying to buy used though.

I was buying CD's up until a few years ago, but really all I did was rip them to MP3's and listen to them on my phone. So I've got several shelves of CD's that I don't listen to, and I don't even have a dedicated CD player anymore. I'm not enough of an audiophile that I'm willing to keep sinking money into it, so I finally crossed over to digital only.

Your houses sound small. ;)

Depends a lot what your talking about, stuff I'm likely to watch/listen too more often I'll still buy physical media but more casual viewing/listening yes streaming can be useful.
