I have been a fan of SI's football manager games and I was trying to find something like this for another sport I like - boxing. After I could not find it - I made one over the course of 3 years. Just opened it to players last month.

Running a boxing gym requires strategy to keep fighters winning and gym in a green.

This is a hobby for me and the game is free to play. I even don't do advertisements as they take away from the atmosphere.
I would also warn that it is not an easy game to get good at but you can get help from me and other players on our forums. it is played in turns (daily) so it is not a big time commitment. But it is a strategy game, so thinking required.
