story with Filipina women looking for western men?

I have a buddy that did this.
Gal was enthusiastic and they Skyped every day, he'd bought plane tickets to go visit her and arrange documentation and whatnot, then just before he was going to make the flight she called it off.
Find a gal nearby is my advice.

Yea, even the flights were cheaper than I expected considering the distance(I'm from Finland). Where are you from?

She even suggested maybe i could find a job there with my education. She's not exactly poor. She lives with extend family alright which seems standard there, and has a job which is just enough to get by. Has good internet etc..

I've dodged a few bullets in my life with nutcase dishonest women, but this feels a little different I have to say.

Thoughts? I'm just curious as I say I'm not taking chatting online serious..

Just keep chatting, and see what happens. Maybe you'll eventually visit her, and even if it doesn't work out, you got to check out the Phillipines.

Western men assume that all foreign women who are poor, are rotten whores dying to escape poverty, which isn't true. There are lots of good girls along with the bad ones.
 
I see a lot of older white guys 50 and 60 with filipino wives they met abroad . Not terribly younger but you'll see about a 10 year difference so it wasn't like they were creepy old men looking for young girls but rather divorced or working class older guys that a lot of white women wouldn't find successful enough . A lot of them tell me that they have been married for years , like 10 or twenty .

I don't know how old you are or how old she is but i think a lot of the older girls in late 20's or 30's just want to have a better life and not necessarily gold digger . The ones i've seen are hard working people , janitors , day care , nurse assistant , elderly care .

Obviously you should be cautious especially if the girl is much younger but if you are a working class guy and the local girls use that against you , i think looking for a girl in philippines is fines . I've never met a filipino that wasn't friendly or hard working .

They probably want to get married so they can go to whatever country you're from (assuming the economy in your country is better).

I know a couple of Filipino Americans that went to Phillipines and found their wives there. They're still married to this day. Don't be naive and you'll be fine.

I used to work for one of those call centers not only that you may have difficulty understanding our accent some of our agents have no clue what they are doing.


I take calls from US Airways before.
My colleague got a call the guy was asking for a fare quotation for a flight from LAX to MCO, instead he gave a quotation for LAX to ORD.


Hey I might have answered one of your calls before if you fly with USAir.

I met my Filipina wife through a dating site as well. We've been together almost 3 years.

3 things you need to be careful of. 1) that she isn't just using you for money or to get a green card. 2) that she isn't a prostitute. On those dating sites there are a lot of those types of girls. 3) That she's not a tranny. Seriously. Be careful.

Two red flags that you should look out for are if they ask you about money in any way (them asking for money or asking about your income) then end it. The other you may wanna be cautious about is if they ask you to "go visit them". That could very easily be a whore. I know girls over here who do that, ask men to come visit them, meaning meet them at hotels to fuck for money. Then they'll be right back on that dating site doing the same thing again. It's pretty common.

Ireland. Flight are around a thousand euros each way.

I think I'll go there meet her. If it doesn't work out hit the nightlife in Davao or something. I'm 30, not getting younger and never been out of europe . I was thinking of going australia end of summer anyway so i'll switch it up. last relationship i had was in 2013. didn't ant another one til now after that crazy bitch.
 
Damn, the Philippines connection is strong on Sherdog. To be fair though, just about every Filipina I ever knew was married to white guy.
 
These girls are bred to be traditional wives, so in general, chances of marriage lasting is much higher than if you go with a western woman. This is anecdotal evidence. It's just a conclusion I came up with knowing plenty of men who marry Asian women through online dating.
 
I used to watch a show called the dog whisperer and he used say something about all dogs at their most basic level being the same. I feel like the same holds true for people.

Treat her just like you would a western woman in a long distance relationship.
