Economy stonks v9, bubble yum

Damn didn't think it would so quick and I'd have another few days to load SRAC; the rumor got out on some bullshit space logistics co merger; up 6%.
Took a 2% algo bath buying in immediately, then doubled down. Should have quadruple lol.

man, i'm so sick of all this spac shit. there are just way too many and their descriptions only ever say 'blank check co' so i can't keep track who's trying to do what.

i think i'm officially over them and won't be playing any until this dumb spacfest is over.

Theyre all out of fashion this week, which is a great time to buy.
This one was a small no name spac and I knew the algo would fuck me. It was at 10.4 and I thought I'd get a chance at a gang of shares at 10.1 range. Went to 10.2 as soon as I bought. I just left at 11.35 and hope it tanks so I can get back in. Wouldnt trust it beyond that.

IPOC (the next Chamath spac after opendoor and virgin) was some total dud notsexy company and crated the whole space.

I have been contemplating the stock, just haven't pulled the trigger. I've read positive and negative stuff so I'm kinda hesitant at the moment..
Their losses are shrinking, I see it going to $12-13 once they report profits

I see that happening regardless of who wins the election - Deep State always wins bruvva

I will give the stock some more thought. I do see more upside than downside to the stock for sure though.

@brackis1 Holding IPOC stock at an average cost of $12, took a beating today. Agree the company its merging with is not sexy. Not sure where this one is heading. Of all the SPACs right now I like FMCI & LCA although they are already quite highly priced.

If anything had a negative effect it was Nikola being under a fraud investigation. The companies stock got pumped to 30 billion based off of a bunch of lies.

but they're the leader in gravity powered vehicles.

I find it unbelievable nikola is still over 20. Just shows how dumb people are holding and investing in this fairytale.

It was partially this, but the selloff has been concentrated to the last 3-4 days particularly tied to the merger dates of SHLL, GRAF anbd a few others where they all tanked. It caused some that had mergers announced already like CCXX to go below their SPAC IPO price which is mathematically irrational.

It's all an extension of the Tesla intoxication.
If one total confidence scam can fake-till-make , why not others?
10-20 bil on future tech is almost nothing compared to 500bil for unprofitable current tech lol. As wild as that sounds.

Kinda ironic that NKLA was in fact my biggest gain this year and best play with a garbage stock. I bought in at $14 and sold at $65.00.

I don't have the balls to invest anything big in EV at the moment. Just seems a bubble. Covid comes and suddenly everybody thinks we are going to be driving EV's and oil is out of fashion over night, like seriously wtf humans are not rational lol

so assuming biden wins and raises long-term cap gains taxes like he said he would...

is everyone just going to be a trader (or exit the market completely)? there seems to be no real point in 'investing' if there's no tax benefit to it.

@44nutman you stupid son of a bitch that PECK thing did another roundtrip double overnight congrats.

If anyone wants to send me a fruit-box for those BA and Wingstop overnight tips, I like Pears and Plums.

SRAC tanked back to $10.2 so I'm going back in hoping this rumor hits and we get a replay 10%+bounce.

Who knows. Just wait until he starts digging into day trades and options. Bernie was all for the penny per transaction or something like that.

I think making LT capital gains the same as ordinary income sucks but I don’t see it changing anything. Where else can novices make anything with their money?

my point was more about holding long-term. there would seem to be no built-in incentive for it, anymore. so shit might destabilize like crazy and end the normie passive investing shit in favor of short term trades.
