I saw what happened to VLDR/GRAF.
If shorting SHLL wasnt super expensive id have gone in on it.
 
Well this turned into a relatively nice day despite it involving mostly hedged bets and relative wins, just wish I'd have shorted TSLA to make my grave dancing a little sweeter; I picked Nio instead.

it turned lousy for me, but my holdings are basically 100% nasdaq.

i just think it's weird that the nasdaq is taking such a beating on (bad) covid news... which tends to be pro-nasdaq.

Yeah thats honestly been the shocker for me. Id be up enormous if I hadnt gone TQQQ + SDOW for my leveraged etf hedge.
My thought is it's still a rebalancing based on YTD performance on a shakeout and returns to normal tech outperformance so I'll keep averaging into that hedge.

well, made some pickups after all. and made some flips earlier. i'm not complaining, it went much better than i expected.
 
Disappointed in myself for not adding to RMG ala what happened to SBE a couple weeks back where a euphoric Friday afternoon into after hours EV run paid big.

$BEEM popped today. I think you are the one that gave out that one. I am up 25% on that one. I like there tech so will be long in that one, or at least so far, no huge drops and its has been steady.

Edit not 50% since it got relisted it did not show what I bought Envision for. I got confused, i thought I bought in a 10 but its 12.

They did the same shit with $SHLL, even though I have been in and out of it, I still never sold my initial shares at 13 ish, but now that is $HYLN it does not show my initial purchase, before the other 3 times I bought in less than 43 to 39 and sold 50. I have to keep a fucking small notebook at my desk now to remember what I bought shit at if they keep changing names. Sucks I got 3 more blank check stocks so this is going to be a continual issue.
 
lol fuck my scalping ass. I took 1% on Vale on some canadian nickel talks with Tesla thinking the response had been muted by the Trump shit.....and it just ripped 10%. 60bil major mining company flying around willy nilly over some fractional battery deal lmao what a world.

I own some Vale at 10.50 and thought I might be a bag holder. I took a small play, because thought they might get an EV rub. Glad you said something because I don't start looking at stocks until Sunday. Might get the fuck out, because, I thought I fucked up with the buying them.

I sold most of my nickel stocks. Couple 5-10 baggers. Holding Ardea Resources, which hasn't done much and getting screwed by Bolt Metals. The large, low grade nickel sulphide deposits in Canada got all the hype. It's silly.

Picked the wrong horse for lithium. Got Neo Lithium. It's up, but not nearly as much as LAC.

Hadn't seen the Tesla/Vale article now. If you think it's crazy what it did to Vale, look what a similarly worded article did to Giga Metals. Management dumped a bunch of shares immediately. The message boards were hilarious.

Vale actually tanked right back to where I sold it, which was 10.55, so we shall see. Could go either way and that was purely some algo script buying because of Tesla and everyone forgets it Monday, orrrrr the media wants some juicy Tesla news and it gets a real run again once the focus is off Trump's covid breaking.
 
i have a bit of vale, but half of it's tied into covered calls.

i only have like 400 shares, though
 
It's probably at least a 6 month hold minimum to see real action (hoping for some first week bounce), but I'm curious about SEAH.U which is a new Sports SPAC run by some former NBA and NHL Exec getting IPOed thru Goldman and got an endorsement from Cramer.
Could end up being something sportsbetting or just another sports media type entity, but with any decent agreement, seems like a decent place to dump some capital.
