I shorted the open and some more at 34.75 today and am a happy boy after having to eat a loss on the shares I was already short. Luckily had closed 1/2 my position friday.
 
seems like every 'weird market' day we have... i end up seeing lucrative gold/uranium/etc plays.

this actually makes a bit of sense, though. layoffs generally drive stocks upwards.

and retail is just plain fucked. but the dow doesn't cover retail.

and honestly, betting on retail recently was/is as risky as cruiselines and hertz.

but yeah, i am noticing some weird market activity. but it's not that surprising with this election from hell tomorrow.

NIO could dip or moon depending on election result. Nio stock has been a steady grower these past few months.

Just offloaded IPOC stock at a 20% loss. Had to realise the losses. Garbage SPAC that will most likely not go anywhere anytime soon. Kinda got caught out with the hype on SPACs. Holding LCA until the merger, 300 shares deep but think this one pops so will sit quietly.

Did make some decent gains on Plug today and sold at $15.45. just over a 9% gain.

and closed some rtx/etc puts from last week early.

Nio's run is baked in.
They make 40,000 obscure luxury cars a year and are worth almost 50 billion. There is almost no upside and it's pure momentum.
