Economy stonks v26

lol TSLA flat while car companies take. Makes tons of sense -_-
Ahh I see:
Jay Leno and CNBC are doing a fellatio session tomorrow dedicating a show to Elon's propaganda, thus the outperformance.

edit: lol and this included a 10 minute interview with Leno today where he tries to discuss battery and rocket tech and promote the episode. So fucking weird; it's a classic car show, but they act like it's totally normal to pivot it into coverage of an aerospace defense contractor.
Dude is such a retarded shill. Claiming battery tech advanced because elon came along and how he is gonna make it so bringing water to mars will cost $100,000 a gallon and how "like all of other Musk's goals, he is gonna actually do it!"
I'm sure it impressed some senior citizens who still love Jay and will share a similar trajectory, not into the stratosphere, but a grave somewhere in the next 10-15 yrs.

I'm guessing Elon promised Leno a free rocket trip ala Bezos with Shatner. Two billionaires using plastic surgery props loved by people born before 1970.

I’ll take a stab here. Range bound market. I think we get a bounce. Ready to gamble. Calls.

I think people are front running 2nd half earnings which should beat estimates by a lot.
Ford definitely didn't; if anything I think theyll do the same soon and preannounce some silly warning

It's an outlier. Ford is not experiencing growth in the manner Tesla is. Tesla delivered ~ 300k in Q1, there were covid shut downs in China so they were impacted and delivered ~ 250k in Q2.

Q3 estimates are around ~ 360k and Q4 should be greater than 400k but the earnings projections are very low. Q3 estimates by analysts for Q3 are lower than Q1. They could beat by 40-50%.

It's a re-rating scenario which is why Tesla has been holding up better in this market imo.

TSLA has so much growth priced into the stock already tho...

This is true, it's valued at over $900 billion so understand that point but I still believe earnings are being underestimated. Like you could see serious PE compression over the next 6 quarters if you don't see the price change. The compression would be too much for a company growing earnings at these rates.

lol Cramer told people to buy Ford and Tellurian this past week multiple times.
Ford tanked 12% today alone; Tellurian is down 30% today on a bond offering failure.
Probably literally ruined some poor fools lives who follow his advice.

They were posting memes on reddit.

9 months ago he was saying Nvidia will be a 10 trillion dollar company when it was at an all time high and now he is saying he is short at 52 weeks lows and it's a dud.

Bought some tqqq calls near today's lows.

Fed reactions are basically coin flips nowadays.

Mid to long term bearish...looking for better shorting opportunities

It's 2022 and there's still people who haven't learned to fade Cramer? That's probably the easiest trade in the book, it's like printing money.

Juul’s lawsuit with the Fed could get interesting. Maybe I’ll throw a little in MO

Thank god I have to travel today; we're 20 min into the open markets and had to endure multiple promos for Musk saying we need to travel to different star systems to meet aliens.

Damn getting ready for a flight.
Should have bought some SFIX off shit earnings
Opened down 6%...now up 10% for a 16% swing

I bet your airport is packed as it’s been the past 90’days. Time for yet another airline dip :oops:

Looks rangebound. Who knows from here. Only a select few stocks holding up the market whilst 90% has already been butchered.

If Apple and Tesla sell off, the market will see new lows. Easy.
