Like a good sailor, when the wind comes, you trim$VRTX over $290. To think when I decided to go balls deep on it, I figured I could get to $220 and cash out for a 15% gain in about 3 months.
Flipping the bail on it was a good decision. Sometimes it is a bad decision, but this time it worked.
I usually, do but it has been green 15 out of the last 16 days(or close to it). I keep raising my sell price. Now that is 290 I upped my sell price to 275, for unloading some shares.Like a good sailor, when the wind comes, you trim

It has been a steady gainer, I think 3 hundo is in play. Also it has been a steady climb, no giant gains in the last 3 months. Those are the best kind, if it was some big jump then unload and buy back, but like I said its been a slow steady climber, which is what I like.
I originally was going to sell at 220. I keep upping my stop price. I just bumped it up to 275. I keep moving it up as the stock moves up. That way if I am on the road, and if it drops to 275 it triggers a sell.
Yeah I ended up even on the day; thought we had hit a technical top on EQT with an RSI way overbought, but it stayed up so that lost me some money but generally pleased with that outcome given i'd been heavy short the last few days to help myself reach some personal ATHs which felt nice.
