Pretty interesting, but it's going to take a while.

  • GE will pursue a tax-free spinoff of GE Healthcare, creating a pure-play company in early 2023, in which GE expects to retain a 19.9% stake.
  • It will combine GE Renewable Energy, GE Power and GE Digital into one business, then pursue a tax-free spinoff in early 2024.

GE Energy as a standalone should be worth a close look, imo.

got back into solar a bit, was able to dump most of my lidar stocks, still in vldr due to the 7.50c i sold on them.

strangely, i wasn't able to buy any rblx for $25


and weirdly enough, amd's nuclear blast from yesterday might not be priced in. everyone's fixated on the facebook deal as if that was the real news...

I meant to buy into earnings; didn't. It dropped after hours and I still balked like a pussy. Coulda made 6% in 2 min

GE energy has renewables unit and they announced a few weeks ago they won’t be profitable for a while
Plus the French power company Alstom or whatever is in there too and there are some crazy costs and charges with that. Aviation is def key. As GE has the best engines for airlines
 
Good thing I sold my TSLA puts last Friday for a measly 10%, otherwise I might have actually made some money today.
