Economy stonks v22, infrastonksture

i think i'm going to go back to not buying anything that doesn't have weeklies. at least, as the general rule.

i'm pissed that i didn't look into it. an EV car with integrated solar is what i've been advocating for a couple years now. but i didn't have time to research them and see if their shit's any good.
I dont think it has enough power to charge, but it helps.

tesla panels, the best in the market btw @brackis1
only produce 425Wph and they are pretty darn big to make that much. The tesla 3 battery is like 60-70kWh battery, and if my rough math is correct, that's like up to 150hrs of direct sunlight to fully charge (around 8 hours daily this time of year). It helps but not that much

AMZN call and PENN calls pretty much canceled each other out, but at least I get to keep the PENN calls and hope for a recovery.

maxeon has the best panels.

and i'm not sure what you mean. if a car is outside (parked or driven), it's charging. even by your estimates, it's more than enough to be self-sufficient - which isn't even really the goal, but endgame.

as long as it charges enough to recover the cost of the equipment, it would make sense. self-sufficiency would just be a bonus.

That is why I bought $PCG.
Tesla is building them a solar farm.
$PCG got killed having to pay out all that money for the fires, so it was a value play initially because no way California lets them go bankrupt and have passed some laws to protect them from getting sued for every wild fire. Also one thing power companies are good at, is buying off politicians. The kicker for me buying it was teaming up with Tesla.
They are a long play, and up 20% but when I bought it, I planned on holding a couple years. so the gains I got are fine.

context of solar vs battery capacity

70,000Wh vs 425Wh for solar

it's gonna take a long time to recoup anything, I think those solar car roofs are super expensive, I was looking at that option when booked the cybertruck, and I think it was like 10K? that would take like 30-50 years to recoup or something wild

I think the only utility I have is waste management, never really looked that direction

I am just some dude that shit posts on a karate forum, not a financial advisor, but if you are looking at utilities get one that pays a dividend. $PCG currently does not.
LIke I said it was a value play. I knew I was not going to lose money, at the price I bought it, but hoping once all the fire money is paid out, maybe get a Tesla rub, it could be a 1 or 2 bagger in a couple years.

Wow AEHR dipping hard today. Dec $17.50 and $20 puts looking juicy. Debating if I should sell some puts or be patient and add shares if this drops further.

i mean, shit doesn't have to be 10k and paying for the tesla name.

even a cheapo pos solar panel that costs $20 off amazon could in theory sit in the rear window and apply direct power (as in, even removing storage from the equation). just sayin, but even something as little as that would theoretically help, at a minimum for when the car is powered.

but i know that college engineers yearly go into competitions for this shit (ie: sunrayce)

ok, gotta say i'm surprised that vldr crashed 10 minutes later. i figured the rumour would be enough to at least keep it above 6. lolz.

i thought you were saying integrated......
I do recall the option of integrated prius and leaf options were extremely high as well, like 6K+

car shades wouldnt be a bad idea, there are those cars that have automated shades built into the doors and rear windows to keep passengers cool

I'm perfectly fine losing money on my own, I have tesla shares after all...........

well, yeah. for years, i questioned why no EV makers seemed to even offer it as an option and SEV is integrated.

then i just rambled about the concept, down to an almost reductio ad absurdum level for proof of concept. lolz.

and gotta admit, i kinda love seeing rmo drop 15% for no apparent reason. tripled up (and maybe quadrupled, depending on where it closes tomorrow... [sold puts] ). i'm gonna theta farm for as long as this shit's going to have premiums.

the timing is dumb as hell, since their ER was surprisingly ok and they picked up some more deals today. if the drop was tomorrow, i'd be wearing the tin foil and wondering if MMs just wanted to suppress it til the 11/19s expire.

Anyone here have a pro-DWAC case at these prices? (56)
Special ed Congress Trump fans bought at higher prices which scares me lol
