I'm loading the farm against WWE on the expectation they have to cancel wrestlemania after denying they will for weeks.

Probably a good move, but interestedly enough the WWE stock hasn't been dropping as dramatically as it did a few weeks ago.

Not that I follow wrestling or anything......

I was hugely short it on a down day where it didnt move at all...gave up fearing a PPV ESPN deal, then it tanked 13% while I was out of it. Whack stock.

The ESPN deal was little more than a rumor put forward by wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer.

It was a cute way to add 150 million dollars to the WWE's stock value after it lost almost a billion a few days before.

After they cancel Wrestlemania, I don't see how the stock could go much lower without the WWE simply closing their doors. I might get in at that point.

I have just copied and pasted below what I responded to someone in the Boxing forum with, suggesting WrestleMania could be cancelled:

I bought 2-100 level tickets to WrestleMania 36.
I am supposed to fly in April 5 and fly out of Tampa on April 6.

I was so excited to go I had never been to a WrestleMania before, only a few of the WWE's other PPVs.

I am not even sure what will happen now.<2>

Start preparing for the worst. They're start to reach panic mode here in FL. Feel like the WM36 cancellation will happen any day now.

They will likely reschedule the show for the summer (June-July) and honor all previous tickets.

LOL anyone who listened to me and bought local oil producers prolly made as much as the Dow will produce over the next decade combined in a single afternoon. Sadly only had a few small positions.

I was sitting cash going into the speech, as soon as he said the word telemedicine I put over half of it in, then ran away after it spiked
