Second, how many finishes due to strikes did Big Nog have? I'll give you a hint, it was 3 out of 34 wins. For a 240 pound heavyweight, that's absurdly low by any standard. Michael Bisping who takes a ton of shit for being pillow fisted in his striking (And fought at two weight classes lower) has 18 finishes by strikes out of 30 wins....

Third, his takedown accuracy is just 29% and his TDD sat at 36%. There is a reason fighters feared going to the ground with him and yet didn't seem to be too worried about being taken down.

So just based on facts his wrestling was abyssmal and his striking largely ineffective. Didn't mean he wasn't a great fighter, just not much of a wrestler with very little power.

Having good or competent striking doesn't mean you finish everyone with it lmao how dense are you? I also said he did well staying on his feet, not that he had great TDD. He never worried about being taken down either.

Fedor would have never go life and death with 5'8 Cormier and he would have zulu'd Franck in one round without having to hold for his life during 25 minutes.

Toss any version of Fedor into a cage with DC, and watch DC smash him for a UD or late finish.. Fedor can't beat anyone elite in a cage. Same as CC.. Fedor went out of his way to avoid that cage for many years.. Finally Went to SF and was smashed..

Who exactly am I 'fanboying' over here? For you to compare Mark Coleman to Cormier on any level is pretty funny. They were light years apart in terms of skillset. Really the only thing they shared was a wrestling base.

My point was that Crocrop didn't have great TDD. The guys that fought him that tried to take him down did.
