Shut down the hype train, broke the record, snatched the belt from Dana and got his team member to put and then called out joe that he might not be the scariest but he's the baddest. Lol, war stipe! All POTN should go to him but Dana will prolly bury him in the press conference.

The funniest thing about this is, if Ngannou was the one laying on his opponent and running the majority of the fight, imagine what you'd be saying right now...

When did Stipe run from Ngannou? Did you even watch the fight?
 
I don't think you can criticise his performance, he banged for each round in the beginning and then imposed his will with the takedowns and was dominant there with punches to the head and body. Last thing you want to do is to take a risk and get hit by Francis.
 
Yep, I put up a thread about his performance before a power-tripping mod deleted it, but Stipe fought a VERY smart fight.

Used his wrestling to totally wear on Ngannou and tire him out, from the get-go.

Very good fight IQ by the champ.

I picked him to win. Kinda disappointed he didn't try for the finish in the last minute of the 5th
 
Lol next time Ngannou should learn something new. Comes into MIXED MARTIAL ARTS as a one trick pony and got dominated. Nobody should be surprised.Ref shouldve stopped it when he wasnt defending the punches over and over to his ribs and face, pure domination from the GOAT HW.

Whether you like it or not, Stipe beat him at every facet of the game tonight.
 
Yes, it was a good strategy, but people wanted to see a finish.

Therefore, I predict, everyone is gonna hate SM even more.

Smart fight? Maybe. Great in the fight? Naw fam. Stipe could've finished that late 2nd early 3rd.
